Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk

The Atlantic Wall Museum Noordwijk is a special museum housed in a series of bunkers from the Second World War. Through an exhibition and a bunker (after reservation requests) tunnels can form an idea about life in bunkers. In addition, one learns how the European coast by the Germans was transformed into a fortress.

There are over 200 photographs to be seen (some of which never earlier presented) and several other new artefacts. It is therefore very worthwhile to visit the Atlantikwall Museum. The exhibition is open from 1st of May until 18th of September between the hours of 10.00 and 17.00.

The exhibition begins with a series of pictures documenting the Atlantikwall from Norway up to the French/Spanish Border. Then there is a room for Battery Noordwijk and an exposition of photographs of "Freizeit in Bunker". (Sparetime in bunker).

Furthermore Atlantikwall Museum Noordwijk is near the following sights: Museum Oud Noordwijk (±850 m), Museum of Comic Art (±900 m), All American Bowling (±2,5 km) & Jumpin' Noordwijk (±3,0 km).
