Huis van Oranje 2026

From Thursday 23 to Monday 27 April 2026, the Huis van Oranje at the Strandplein in Katwijk guarantees five days of celebration, music and good vibes. In a large festival tent by the sea, enjoy performances, dancing, singing and Katwijk traditions for all ages.

What can you expect during Huis van Oranje?

• Thursday 23 April: The kick-off with the ever popular The Best of Abba delivers a lively start to the weekend.
• Friday 24 April: During the day, the Oranjetour passes through Katwijk, followed in the evening by performances from local bands such as Band & Breakfast, featuring members of The Guilty Six.
• Saturday 25 April: In the afternoon, traditional sea shanties with three shanty choirs and live music by Johnny Ceesh. The evening is all about the popular Kattukse Nach with Ut Laetste Rondje, Patrick Messemaker and DJ Martiens.
• Sunday 26 April: A quieter moment with a joint Sing-in organised by the churches and the Oranje Association.
• Monday 27 April, King’s Day: Big celebration with dance performances by DC Dance, live music from Lets Folk, lookalikes of André Hazes and Guus Meeuwis, party band Barry Badpak and DJs Dennis, Martiens and Arie van Rooijen.

Practical information

• Location: Festival tent on the Strandplein, close to the promenade of Katwijk aan Zee.
• Admission: Free entry every day. For some evenings (excluding the shanty afternoon and King’s Day), tickets are available to guarantee access.
